The Yalova University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Council Meeting for the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year was held on October 22, 2025.
The Academic Council Meeting for the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Yalova University was held with the participation of Yalova University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı. The Academic Council Meeting, held in the Rectorate Conference Hall, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hasan Kaplan, along with the vice deans, department chairs, and academic staff. At the meeting, certificates of appreciation were presented to staff members who demonstrated outstanding performance in academic and administrative areas within the faculty.
The Academic Council Meeting began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Hasan Kaplan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Prof. Dr. Kaplan gave a presentation covering the faculty's personnel status, academic publications and projects, and social activities. Following the introductory presentation, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, Rector of Yalova University, began his speech by evaluating the faculty's publication performance. Prof. Dr. Bahçekapılı advised faculty members on scientific publications and projects, adding that graduate students should be encouraged to publish.
