The photography exhibition prepared by students of the Department of New Media and Communication at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Yalova University was presented to art lovers.
Coordinated by Dr. Tahsin Eren Sayar, a faculty member of the Department of New Media and Communication, the exhibition featured 36 photographs prepared as part of the Final Project course. The photographs, prepared and exhibited by the department students over the course of a semester, focused on nine different themes. Sayar stated that they have been developing students by adding more to the exhibition each year, now in its fourth year, saying, “We value such events for the development of our students. Our students are both developing themselves and increasing their sectoral experience for the future with the photographs they take.”
Sayar also highlighted the strong support from both the university administration and the students during the preparation of the exhibition, saying, "We would like to thank our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekaplı, and our Dean, Prof. Dr. Hasan Kaplan, for their support in preparing the exhibition and allocating the space. We are also grateful to the faculty and department members who participated in our exhibition for their support. We will continue to increase the quality of our student-centered education by increasing such social events at our university."
The student exhibition will be open to all art lovers in the foyer of the Yalova University Mehmet Okul Congress Center until 4:00 PM on Friday, December 26.
