The Minister of Education and Science of the Tuzla Canton of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ahmed Omerović, held a meeting with the Rector of Yalova University of the Republic of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Senay Yürür Karslıoğlu, Vice Rector of Yalova University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Kaplan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel Akova Havalı, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
During the meeting, Minister Omerović provided information about the projects carried out by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Canton of Tuzla and highlighted the academic potential of the University of Tuzla for the country and the region. Discussions were held on developing institutional cooperation between the University of Tuzla and Yalova University, student and faculty exchange programs, and joint projects in the field of higher education.
