Yalova University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı and the accompanying university delegation visited the Kladanj Municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina and held a meeting with Mayor Edis Šarić.
The meeting, held at the Kladanj Municipality building, was also attended by Prof. Dr. Midhat Čaušević, Representative of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Razija Hodžić, Director of the Social Services Center, and Aida Hotović, Director of JP “Karaula”.
Yalova University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Senay Yürür Karslıoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Hasan Kaplan, and Associate Professor Dr. Sibel Akova Havalı from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences were also present at the meeting. During the discussions, the tourism and economic potential of the Kladanj Municipality was presented, and opportunities for cooperation and experience sharing between the local people and Yalova University in the fields of education, tourism, and economics were discussed.
The parties expressed their mutual goodwill and cooperation goals regarding the implementation of joint projects that will contribute to the development of the Kladanj Municipality and strengthen inter-institutional relations.
