Yalova University Undergraduate Education and Teaching Regulations;
Single-Course Exam (Amended Title: RG-23/8/2021-31577) ARTICLE 30 – (Amended: RG-22/5/2023-32198) (1) For students who have enrolled in courses listed in the curriculum during the regular academic year and summer school, have met the course attendance requirements, and have reached the graduation stage—excluding internships, projects, practical training, and capstone projects—a single-course exam is administered at the end of each semester to prevent loss of academic time, regardless of the semester in which the course was originally offered, for those who have failed a single course. Students with a GPA below 2.00 may also take single-course exams for courses in which they received conditional passing grades of DC or DD. There is no right to a make-up exam for single-course exams. In calculating the final grade, midterm/in-semester exam scores and other grades for that course during the academic year are not taken into account…”
